KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 23,258.79 points with a negative change of -236.73 and volume of 112,364,600 shares. High and Low were 23,598.15 and 23,254.09 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 26 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 183,665,330 shares. Total companies traded were 380 of which 115 were positive, 245 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 43,932,600 shares. It was followed by Miscellaneous with a total traded volume of 14,820,100 shares.
