Navy chief calls on Prime Minister Imran Khan

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi called on Tuesday Prime Minister Imran Khan in the PM Office.

The Naval Chief congratulated PM Khan on assuming office, local media reported. During the meeting, the country’s security situation  as well as professional matters regarding Pakistan Navy were discussed.

On Monday, Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met PM Khan and discussed security situation in Pakistan. According to a press release issued, they both expressed resolve to bring enduring peace and stability in the country, while also continuing efforts for regional peace.

Meanwhile, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid  also held a meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi at the Foreign Office. The air chief congratulated the FM on assuming office and discussed matters related to Pakistan's foreign policy.
