NEW YORK: US government debt prices turned higher on Thursday, erasing earlier losses, after weaker US data revived safety bids for low-risk government debt.
The Treasuries market was weaker earlier after good auctions for Spanish and Italian soothed some worries about the euro zone debt crisis.
Benchmark 10-year Treasury notes last traded up 3/32 in price for a yield of 1.90 percent, down almost 1 basis point from late on Wednesday.
