Crackdown ordered against illegal petrol pumps

BAHAWALPUR: Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal Friday directed to launch a crackdown against illegal petrol pumps and petrol selling agencies.

He has directed all the Assistant Commissioners to take action against illegal petrol pumps and agencies that illegally sell petroleum products.

The illegal pumps and agencies would be sealed under Petroleum Rule of 1937.

The sealed pumps would be given time of 15 days to explain their position.
