KARACHI: Minister of State for Finance and Economic Affairs, Rana M. Afzal Khan visited the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET).
He met Chancellor Jawaid Anwar and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal Haque at the Chancellor's office, said a statement on Tuesday.
Various issues were discussed in the meeting including the development and implementation of such an education system that may produce interest among the students more towards education.
He also accompanied the Chancellor, Vice Chancellors and others to the classes and observed the working environment of the university.
Rana Afzal appreciated SSUET efforts to cater to the weaker sector of society and provide them highest level of technical education as he himself is an engineer.
Jawaid Anwar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal Haque and the management thanked the Minister for taking initiatives to resolve the issues related to the academic institutions that shows his commitment to the betterment of education in Pakistan.
