BRATISLAVA: The Slovak central government budget deficit reached 454.90 million euros ($559.85 million) at the end of March, wider than a 336.97 million euro deficit posted a year ago, the Finance Ministry said on Tuesday.
Total revenue reached 3.03 billion euros at the end of March, while expenditure was 3.49 billion euros. Tax revenue stood at 2.67 billion euros, down from 2.74 billion euros a year ago.
Revenue from EU transfers reached 216.98 million euros, up from 114.77 million euros at the end of March 2017.
