Lawmakers passed resolution to allocate Rs5mn for federal PSDP dams

QUETTA: Lawmakers have unanimously passed a resolution to allocate fund Rs, 5 million for federal PSDP for restoring flood waters in order to construct dams to improve water level in the province.
The Assembly Session was chaired by Penal Chairman Shahida Raouf on Friday.
Abdul Raheem Zairatwal and Syed Agh Liqat tabled a joint resolution which read that district Musakhail is important in the entire province regarding livestock and it is government responsibility to ensure protection of livestock and should take measures to improve livestock and agricultural of Musakhail.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F Mufti Mazullah, JUI-F Abdul Rehman Kethran said all situations would be discussed including livestock, agricultural across province before making legislation, so that enhanced solution of livestock and agricultural could be achieved for betterment of them.
Provincial Minister for Agriculture Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said we should bring best legislation for agriculture and livestock after consultation during debate in the assembly session.
Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said Livestock is important field of our province and this sector is backbone of province’s economy, saying that majority of livelihood is depend on livestock and agricultural. He also assured the lawmakers in this regard that relative deportment would be directed to ensure protection of livestock and agricultural across province.
Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal and MPA Agha Syed Liaqat presented a resolution which read that we should take measures to construct dams for restoring flood waters in the province in order to reduce shortage of water in the area.
Lawmakers including Nawab Muhammad Khan Shawani and Muhammad Khan Lehri presented a resolution on important of water in the session.
The Assembly was adjourned till April 2.
