TOKYO: The Osaka District Court in western Japan on Friday rejected a request for an injunction to halt two reactors at Takahama nuclear plant, operator Kansai Electric Power Co said.
A local resident in Osaka had filed the case with the court last July to halt the plant's No.3 and No.4 reactors, citing dangers of missile attacks to the plant by North Korea, Kansai Electric said.
The decision would pave the way for Kansai Electric to continue operations at the two reactors, both of which have been generating power since the middle of 2017.
