Sattar visits Bahadurabad: MQM-P factions signal to talk

Despite differences with PIB and Bahadurabad fictions, communication should be continued adding that all workers in PIB and Bahadurabad are part of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan).
MQM-(P) disgruntled leader Farooq Sattar cited while speaking at joint presser with Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui at MQM-(P) Bahadurabad office. During Sattar visit at Bahadurabad office both the leaders agreed to continue talks so as to remove the differences.
Farroq Sattar was accompanied by his wife and Ali Raza Abidi.
“Bahadurabad is our joint home,” Sattar said adding that all workers in PIB and Bahadurabad are part of MQM-(P).”
He also noted that the two groups shared an ideological bond despite their disagreements.
Earlier on Thursday, The Islamabad High Court suspended the decision of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to remove Farooq Sattar as convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and sought reply from respondents on April 11.
During the proceeding, the petitioner's counsel Baber Sattar contended that ECP had no legal right to interfere into the internal affairs of any political party.
He stated that the ECP had no right to hear the case filed by a person, who claimed to be the party's head, whereas MQM-P was registered in the name of his client.
He argued that such person could approach a civil court to file a case for such claim.
After hearing the arguments, the court issued stay order against the ECP decision restoring Farooq Sattar as MQM-P convener and sought reply from the ECP, Kanwar Naveed Jameel, MQM-P convener Bahadurabad Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui by April 11.
