All steps to be taken as per law: Chairman NAB

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Jawed Iqbal on Monday said that steps would be taken as per law without succumbing to any pressure.

He was speaking as a guest of honour at the annual mega Congress of Veterinarians held on the topic "Prosperity and Food Security through Livestock and Poultry Development" here at Awan-e-Iqbal.

He dispelled the impression that NAB's action was creating any hurdle in the development projects.

The Chairman NAB said that every Pakistani should play his role in eradicating corruption from the country so that it could flourish.

NAB was focusing on making Pakistan a loan free country, he added.

Scores of veterinarians including Dr Rana Sajjad were among those who spoke on the occasion.
