Pakistan's former captain praises ‘cricket ambassador’ Dhoni

Pakistan former captain and wicket-keeper batsman Rashid Latif showered praise on India’s World Cup winning skipper and fellow wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, calling him a ‘good ambassador’ of the game.
“Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a very good ambassador of the game not only for India but for all over the world. A cool guy and that’s why India had lot of success under him. He is a very good human being too,” said Latif, quoted Gulf News.
Latif, who at the moment is working with Pakistan Super League’s franchise Karachi Kings as team director and team advisor, picked South Africa’s wicket-keeper Quinton De Kock as the best in current cricket world.
“I feel De Kock is the best wicket-keeper after Jeffrey Dujon,” Latif said.
Hailed as one of the best wicket-keepers ever produced by Pakistan, Latif represented the country in 37 Tests and 166 One Day Internationals, taking 301 catches and 49 dismissals behind the wicket.
