KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 24,238.10 points with a negative change of -261.97 and volume of 60,075,700 shares. High and Low were 24,523.38 and 24,220.23 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 24 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 142,428,260 shares. Total companies traded were 365 of which 103 were positive, 240 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Food and Personal Care Products was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 18,293,080 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 13,496,000 shares.
