Kings opener gives credit to Imad Wasim for team’s success

After dismal performances in the past two seasons, the Karachi Kings have witnessed a turnaround in fortunes in the ongoing third season of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Imad Wasim, the newly appointed skipper of Kings, has been impressive alongside veterans including superstar Shahid Afridi and England’s all rounder Ravi Bopara.
Explaining the success of Karachi Kings, the team's opening batsman Khurram Manzoor said that it’s been the combined effort from all stakeholders. This, he said, includes the management and coaching staff, alongside players who are trying to amend the mistakes committed in previous seasons and pushing the Kings towards success.
“What is also impressive is Wasim’s captaincy and the influence of our Coach Mickey Arthur and the presence and contribution of seniors such as Afridi and Bopara as well as Colin Ingram, which altogether explains the success that we have achieved so far,” said the Karachi born batsman, quoted PakPassion.
“The team is fighting every inch to win and one cannot ask more from a group of players,” added Manzoor.
The Karachi Kings are placed second at the points table with seven points at the moment and would play their next match against Quetta Gladiators on Thursday.
