Vietnam to auction $71mn bonds this week

HANOI: Vietnam's State Treasury will auction 1.5 trillion dong ($71.34 million) of government debt in the final week of this year, the Hanoi Stock Exchange said.

The treasury will sell three-year bonds to raise 1 trillion dong and 500 billion dong via 10-year debt on Wednesday, Dec. 28, the exchange said in a statement seen on Tuesday.

At the previous auction on Dec. 22, the treasury sold 700 billion dong worth of three-year bonds at a yield of 12.10 percent and 50 billion dong of 10-year debt at 11.20 percent.
