RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 23,852.25 points with a positive change of 140.04 and volume of 79,935,600 shares. High and Low were 23,923.49 and 23,508.55 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 12 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 144,887,780 shares. Total companies traded were 354 of which 165 were positive, 164 were negative and 25 were unchanged.

Cable and Electrical Goods was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,454,850 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 15,414,250 shares.
