RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 24,210.06 points with a positive change of 445.01 and volume of 124,662,400 shares. High and Low were 24,278.44 and 23,548.63 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 24 were up, 4 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 190,647,810 shares. Total companies traded were 361 of which 226 were positive, 119 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 26,998,600 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 20,604,100 shares.
