RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 23,765.05 points with a negative change of -256.04 and volume of 115,154,600 shares. High and Low were 24,268.91 and 23,663.77 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 16 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 188,066,310 shares. Total companies traded were 350 of which 156 were positive, 177 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,571,850 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 18,933,750 shares.
