KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 23,910.70 points with a negative change of -284.50 and volume of 109,260,600 shares. High and Low were 24,233.30 and 23,839.14 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 23 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 219,482,850 shares. Total companies traded were 381 of which 88 were positive, 277 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 37,197,000 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 24,128,500 shares.
