Govt determined to eradicate polio from country: Saira

ISLAMABAD: Minister for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar in a statement on the launching of second countrywide anti-polio campaign said we will not rest till full eradication polio from the country.

The Minister said 2018 will be the last year for anti Polio campaign in the country. She said only eight polio cases reported last year and none in this year.

She appealed to parents to make this polio round a success like previous rounds by cooperating with the polio teams and ensuring that all children are vaccinated or administered the drops.
