NAB arrests owner of SZ Securities in embezzlement case

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore apprehended an accused, Asif Zahir, an owner of SZ Securities Private Limited for being allegedly involved in embezzlement of Rs 151.18 million in Stock Exchange Investment Scam.

According to NAB spokesman, the owner of SZ Securities (Pvt) Limited looted Rs 151.18 million invested by public for sale and purchase of shares in the Stock Exchange.

An inquiry was launched against the accused in 2017 whereas after collecting sufficient evidences, NAB arrested Asif Zahir from Lahore.

NAB officials will produce the accused before an accountability court on Saturday for seeking his physical remand.
