Unit No. 17 of Tarbela T-4 project starts test production

TARBELA: Tarbela Dam officials on Friday have started testing of unit No. 17 of Tarbaila Fourth extension project.

Officials told to media that civil and engineering work on unit No. 17 of T-4 extension project has been completed. Unit has a capacity to produce 470 Megawatts hydropower while the total capacity of T-4 project would be 1410 MW.

Unit No. 16 of T-4 project would be completed till 25th April and unit No. 15 till 30th that would add 1410 MW electricity to the national grid.
