The 44th death anniversary of founder- Vice Chancellor of University of Sindh and a great philosopher and scholar of international repute, Allama I. I. kazi was observed on Friday. Quran Khuwani was organised at Mausoleum of Allama I. I. Kazi and his wife Elsa Kazi at University's Allama I. I. Kazi Campus Jamshoro which was attended by a large number teachers, employees, students and people from different walks of life.
Acting Vice Chancellor Dr Parveen Shah accompanied by Deans of the Faculties, heads of various teaching institutes and departments, officers, employees and students laid floral wreaths on the graves of Allama I.I. Kazi, his wife Elsa Kazi and Dr N.A. Baloch.
The Acting Vice Chancellor Dr Parveen Shah lauded services of Dr Kazi for promotion of education and establishing the University of Sindh for higher studies of the youth. She said that during his life Allama I.I.Kazi used to deliver weekly lectures on different topics for the learning and education of youth.
In connection with death anniversary of Allama I. I. Kazi, a lecture was organised by the Bureau of Students Tutorial, Guidance/Counselling services and Co-curicular activities (STGAS) at Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium at Faculty of Arts. Dr Kazi Khadim Hussain well-known writer and scholar, Former Dean Faculty of Arts delivered a lecture on Allama I. I. Kazi and his contribution towards education of youth. Dr Hussain said Allama I. I. Kazi was a simple and a man of high caliber, adding that services rendered by Allama Kazi would always be remembered.
