Burj Bank to set up 50 branches

Burj Bank Limited (BBL) will soon establish its 50 branches across the country in first the phase. The president and chief executive officer of BBL, Ahmed Khizar Khan said while meeting with Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, at CM House here on Tuesday.
Burj Bank limited was the new name of the Dawood Islamic Bank Limited, he informed. Khizar also said that BBL in the first phase would establish its 50 branches across the country and more branches would be added. He informed currently a branch of BBL functioning in Hyderabad whereas new branches would soon be established in Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas and other cities of the province. Khizar said BBL was functioning on the pattern of the International Development Bank with priority for the development of Islamic countries.
