Government of Pakistan has honoured Professor Syed Sibtul Hasnian, President Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and Professor Javed Akram, Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College/ Jinnah Hospital Lahore, for their services in the field of medical education.
Professor Syed Sibtul Hasnian and Professor Javed Akram were given awards in a ceremony which was attended by all the council members of PMDC, vice chancellors of different universities, principal's of Public & private sector medical colleges of the country. Professor Akram has been awarded this pride for his contribution in developing the criterion for recognition of under and post-graduate institutes and for undergraduate training curricula.
Moreover, Ministry of National Regulation & Services has decorated Professor Asad Aslam Khan, acting Vice-Chancellor King Edward Medical University with National Award in recognition of his outstanding performance in the field of medical education and clinical practice.
The award was given to him by Ministry of Regulation & Services at Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Secretariat, Islamabad. Professor Asad Aslam has also been awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Asia Pacific Award for best services in the field of medicines.
