Boy loses life in projectile explosion

A 13-year-old boy on Saturday lost his life when a projectile exploded in the limits of Docks police station. According to SHO Docks Madad Ali Zardari, the victim Sohail, 13 son of Ismail, while playing found an explosive shell in water. He said the deceased departed the shell from water and tried to open it with his mouth. Resultantly, the projectile was exploded, claiming his life on spot.
He said the victim was the resident of Navy Colony located in Manora and his father was employed in Pakistan Navy. He said the officials of Pakistan Navy took the samples of the shells and they had no information about the nature of shell. No case was registered till filing of this report.
