At least two persons lost their lives while two others sustained injuries when a passenger van hit a stalled car near Swabi Interchange on Motorway early Friday morning. According to Chota Lahore police, the driver of a car (RIN 8610) was fixing the tire near Jalsai area on Motorway when a passenger van (GAM 1245), coming from Punjab to Peshawar hit the car from back, resultantly the driver of passenger van Muhammad Asif of Gujranwala and cleaner Muhammad Ashraf of Sialkot died instantly.
The owner of car Muhammad Farooq and Ashfaq Ahemd of Sialkot also sustained critical injuries in the accident. Motorway police rushed to the site and shifted the injured to Swabi Hospital.
