Lashing out at the PML-N leadership, President Asif Ali Zardari said the Sharif brothers were migrants, adding that Lahore was the stronghold of Pakistan People's Party. While presiding over a meeting of PPP Punjab on Thursday in Lahore, he said the Sharif brothers had been so "politically flamboyant" because he had allowed them to be that way and that if he wanted he could 'bring their flamboyance' to an end.
The PPP co-chairman said Pakistan People's Party would make government in Punjab, and his party would contest election with coalition partners in the next general elections. Announcing that as many as 1,000 auto-rickshaws would be given to party activists, the president said people who were in need would be provided relief this year. Governor Punjab Latif Khosa, Jahangir Badar, Raja Riaz, Imtiaz Safdar Waraich and other PPP leaders attended the meeting.
