Jamaat-i-Islami criticises POL prices hike

Jamaat-i-Islami, Ameer, Syed Munawar Hasan and JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, have condemned the exorbitant raise in POL prices and demanded its immediate withdrawal. In a joint statement on Saturday, they said that the fresh high raise was another drone attack on the poor masses who were already from hand to mouth.
They said that the raise in POL prices would lead to a flood of price hike and add to the miseries of the masses. The JI leaders said that the rulers had become unbearable and if the masses wanted to live, they must rise against the Zardari/ Gilani government.
