Over 94,000 Kashmiris martyred by Indian forces since 1989

ISLAMABAD: A total of 94,906 innocent Kashmiris had been martyred by Indian occupied forces including 7,099 in custody since 1989, a research report released by All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Jammu and Kashmir said.

According to the report, 143,185 Kashmiris had been apprehended, 107,686 children orphaned and 108,471 houses/shops destroyed by the occupied forces.

As many as 22,864 Kashmiri women were widowed and 11,026 were raped by the occupied forces in last over two decades. Likewise 11,042 women were gang raped/molested during the aforementioned period.

The APHC, in a statement, said India must stop crimes against humanity in occupied Kashmir and urged United Nations to help providing justice to innocent Kashmiris.

The APHC demanded abrogation of Article 370, 35A, establishment of Pandit colonies in occupied valley.
