The Punjab government has posted Nasrullah Virk as the new Chairman of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore. Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik, Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Department has been relieved of the additional charge of the post of the Chairman BISE Lahore. The employees of Lahore Board and senior academics appreciated the services and contribution of Dr Malik during his tenure as Chairman BISE Lahore.
Dr Malik was assigned the additional responsibility of Lahore Board in October 2011. He is the only DMG Officer in the history of the country, ever posted as Chairman of an educational Board. He voluntarily accepted the challenge and successfully declared error free results, after working day and night with his team within a short span of 29 days.
