Fake degree: LHC summons PML-Q MNA on April 17

The Lahore High Court on Wednesday issued notice to Speaker National Assembly and directed him to ensure service of the notice on PML-Q MNA Nauman Ahmad Langrial. The court directed the respondent to appear before the court on April 17 in an election petition filed against him.
Petitioner Begum Shahnaz Javed of PPP had lost her election against Langrial from NA-163 Sahiwal. The petitioner contended that the respondent MNA had contested election on the basis of fake degree. She said Higher Education Commission had declared the degree of the respondent as fake. She therefore prayed to the court to declare Langrial disqualified for having fake degree.
