Missing IT expert case: IHC reserves verdict

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday reserved judgment in plea seeking recovery of missing IT expert Sajid Mehmood.
Justice Athar Minallah reserved the verdict after completion of the arguments.
Umer Ejaz Ghilani counsel for the petitioner, pleaded that neither local nor international law allowed any authority to kidnap a person adding that it was a crime against humanity.
Ministry of Interior, earlier, had submitted the court that all 15 departments working under its domain denied any involvement in the case.
Mahera - wife of the missing person - in her petition took the stance that she and her husband were both engineers and ran a small software development firm titled ‘QualityClix’ but on March 14, 2016, Sajid was picked up by around eight men, who arrived in double-cabins and a land cruiser, from their house in Sector F-10 and since then he was missing yet even after making all efforts.
