Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday strongly condemned the killing of MQM activist Mansoor Mukhtar and his brother in Karachi. Khan expressed grief and sorrow over the murder of Mukhtar and offered condolences to his family. He also expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and other major cities of Sindh.
According to him, the law enforcing agencies had completely failed to stop violence in Karachi riots, which had brought life to a standstill. He asked law enforcing agencies to control the situation and restore normal life in the province as quickly as possible. "I appeal to party workers to shun politics of violence and revenge in order to maintain peace in the city," he added.
