Unity among Muslim states

Through these lines, I am going to invite the attention of all heads of Muslim States, Statesmen, Intellectuals, Journalists and especially think tanks to the problem of disorder, disunity and the threat of terrorism to most of the Muslim States. In this situation many thinking minds suggest the idea of re-invigorating the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Conference) under the patronage and headship of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
In the wake of the US-led Western invasion of Iraq, political unrest in Bahrain, terrorist activities are in full swing in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Be it the dismantling of Libyan polity or ongoing chaos in Syria, this is essentially aimed at the weakening of the radical circle or one time allies of the Soviet bloc. Iraq's experience, Libyan turmoil and Syrian rebellion, are parts of the play. In view of the nuclear ambitions of Iran, a war of words is going on between USA, Israel and Iran. The only nuclear state in the Muslim World Pakistan has become a bleeding wound. In this situation it is the need of the hour that pro-western monarchies in the Middle East and anti-west radical states should constitute a joint strategy under the Political Average Composition formulae. Let us examine what is this formula.
It is just like simple arithmetic formula of Average Principle Application. There is a family, consisting of brothers. Some family members are wise, some are eccentric, some are cynical etc. There are infinite similarities and dissimilarities but at the end of the day, for the common good and interest of the family, all family members have to respond jointly. King of Abdullah of KSA, despite being considered pro-Western, has very wisely followed an independent foreign policy like his visit to Russia, his relations with China and Iran. Notwithstanding differences in policy issues with Iran, he still has influence in Iranian leadership. All the machinations to make a cleavage between Iran and Saudi Arabia have been foiled from both sides.
Let us now hasten to the solution. There is a divide between the Muslim World like the densely populated countries eg Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt. On the other side, there are oil producing countries in the Middle East but these monarchies lack manpower and an industrial base. In view of the above, efforts may be re-directed towards some sort of political unification and industrial revolution.
The idea behind Islamic Conference organised by Z.A. Bhutto and actively supported by King Faisal Shaheed of Saudi Arabia, is still relevant. It is the need of the hour that the Muslim Ummah should be re-organised on the same pattern but with a difference. All such previous efforts to unite the Muslim World had been viewed suspiciously by the West and Israel.
Since the US-led world follows the Israel-centric vision, decidedly, they shall foil-any such efforts to form a Muslim bloc in military and economic terms, even a loosely connected organisation if it is vocal about Israel occupation and new colonies in the Arab Lands. Therefore renewed attempts, some observers believe, should not be against any other state rather it should be a combined political average formulae which shall start its quest in the fields of education, health, vocational training, industrialisation and goodwill to all nations on earth.
Now if the King Abdullah is elected as patron-in-chief of the organisation, the USA and West shall be comfortable for his soft personality leading the Islamic World, and he has the ability to demonstrate and tell USA-led West that he has to take care of Iranian, and Syrian interests also. This kind of loose political influence can avoid the situation like the Libyan Polity disaster and resultantly there shall emerge a balance much needed in these difficult times.
This shall not be a military alliance against Israel or USA etc, rather it shall be a diplomatic alliance to project essential the humanism of Islam for dissemination of knowledge, welfare and humane causes all over the world. This shall mitigate the sectarian divide in the Muslim world and also shall go a long way in reducing conflicts in areas like Lebanon, Bahrain, Iraq and Afghanistan. The wealth of oil and resources of the Gulf State can be instrumental for industrialisation in all Muslim societies on the earth.
