The Sindh Assembly on Thursday completed its fourth parliamentary year with holding 105 sittings, as Speaker Nisar Khuhro prorogued it for indefinite period. According to the 18th Constitutional Amendment, assemblies have to hold at least 100 sittings to make laws. In the third parliamentary year, the Sindh Assembly had met for 109 sittings.
Nisar Khuhro lauded the legislators' efforts in making laws while Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazhar, Sindh Law and Parliamentary Affair Minster Ayaz Soomro and Muttahida Qaumi Movement's Faisal Sabzwari also appreciated the members for completing four parliamentary years successfully.
