The fire broke out in two warehouses of second-hand apparels and burnt the commodity worth millions into ashes in the limits of Pirabad police station on Thursday. According to the officials of the Fire Department, two fire tenders were dispatched on the fire information that was received at around 4:45am. They said the fire had completely engulfed two warehouses before the fire tenders reached the scene.
Later, four more fire brigade trucks and a snorkel rushed to the place and employed to extinguish the fire. They said the fire was brought in control within 4 hours and added that two warehouses of secondhand stuff were completely damaged in this incident. Police said although the incident was said to be happened because of short circuit, they were investigating the case from each angle and added that nobody was reported hurt in this incident.
