Dr Tariq Salah-ud-Din, Principal Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has been elected as the President of Anjuman Behboodi-e-Marizan for next three years here on Sunday. The election of Anjuman Behboodi-e-Marizan was held in Committee Room of LGH while Professor Dr Hamayun Iqbal Khan performed as election commissioner.
The notification of elected members has also been issued and according to it, Mrs Saira Rahman has been elected as General Secretary, Haji Muhammad Yousaf and Sheikh Habib Ullah as Vice-Presidents, Muhammad Arshad as Finance Secretary, Younus Khan as Joint Secretary and Muhammad Yaqoob Dil Shahd as Information Secretary.
The executive members are Muhammad Aslam Malik, Shafqaq Elahi Malik, Aleem Malik, Muhammad Amjad, Shahla Javaid, Shamim Malik, Rehat Shoukat and Professor Dr Humayun Iqbal; Professor Dr Tariq Salah-ud-Din said those who render the services for the ailment of the humanity are respectable and proud of the society. He said the record of donation would be made transparent. He said all available resources would be used for the poor patients.
