Private schools: vigilance team inspects exams centres

The Vigilance Committee, headed by Deputy Director Private Schools Hyderabad Shahida Abro, on Friday inspected seven private schools where the team monitored the process of examination. The committee is constituted by Provincial Education Department to inspect Elementary Examinations being conducted by private schools' management at Hyderabad from March 15 to 17.
Talking to the media during surprise visit of Vigilance Committee at Qasimabad, Shahida Abro said that Provincial Education Department had planned to adopt uniform policy, especially in conducting schedule of examination and start of academic year but big private education institutions were main hurdle in this regard. She said "we are trying to convince them to modify their schedule on provincial level." Talking about the examination procedure of private schools, she expressed her satisfaction over transparent and foolproof system for fair examination.
She said the vigilance on Friday team had inspected the Educator School G.O.R. Colony, Superior College of Science for Girls G.O.R. Colony, Anees Hassan School & College Latifabad, Tin School of FXCF NC Latifabad Auto Bhan road, Star Higher School and Secondary Learning, Pakistan Pilot High School Science Computers Latifabad and Munwar Foundation School Unit No 8 Latifabad. The team on Saturday paid surprise visit at the examination centres at Hyderabad City, she added. To another question, she said that many reforms had been introduce to ensure fair and cheating less examination in government schools as well.
