Leather garments, goods export to EU increases

The export of Pakistan''s leather garments and goods to European Union has increased from 318.03 million dollars to 361.98 million dollars from 2007 to 2010. In written reply to a question, Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim on Friday told the National Assembly that as per statistics of January-October 2011, there has been an increase of 12.75 percent in the export figure as compared to January-October 2010.
He said export of leather garments and goods was 318.03 million dollars in 2007, 371.79 million dollars in 2008, 324.92 million dollars in 2009, 361.98 million dollars in 2010, 299.4 million dollars in January-October 2010 and 337.59 million dollars in January-October 2011.
