ISE index down 48.01 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 48.01 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,849.47 to 2,801.46 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 300,235 shares as compared to previous turnover of 397,677 shares. Total 140 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (87) closed in negative territory, 53 landed in plus column and 0 companies remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Lafarage Pakistan Cement was 51,000 shares. The volume of D.G Khan Cement was 50,500 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement Company was 45,000 shares.
