Results of HSC Part II Science General (Group) supplementary exams 2011

Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announced results of HSC Part II Science General (Group) supplementary Examinations 2011 on Tuesday. BIEK also announced the results of Pre-Engineering (Group) Part II Supplementary Examinations 2011 and Humanities (group) Part II Supplementary Examination 2011. According to results gazette available with Business Recorder total 756 got registered for exams of which 736 appeared in exams including 413 male and 323 female.
Of them, 315 students managed to pass the exams including 192 male and 123 female. The ratio of passed candidates remained 42.80 percent. Only a single student got A Grade while 32 got B-Grade, 123 B-Grade, 123 C-Grade, 154 D-Grade and 5 managed to get E-Grade. In the results of Humanities group 2970 candidates appeared in the exams, of them 1190 were declared pass. The pass percentage remained 40.07 percent. While in the supplementary exams of Pre-Engineering group 4,589 candidates appeared in the exams, of them 3770 were declared pass including 3037 male and 733 female.
The pass percentage remained 49.68 percent. BIEK said that a judicious procedure is observed to decide all cases of Unfair-Mean (UFM). It said that every effort was made to provide fair opportunity of personal appearance, hearing and defence to all candidates involved in such cases. Results of candidates involved in U.F.M are withheld till final decision gets approved by the Board of Governors of BIEK.
Board said that mark-sheets would be issued after two weeks from their respective institutions. It added that no marks statement would at all be issued from the Board's premises. It also informed that scrutiny of Answer Books could be done on payment of prescribed fee and on application within 40 days of the declaration of results. It mentioned that grace marks would be given (if any) are not added in the grand total.
