Mustafa Jamal Kazi Deputy Commission South appointed Mushtaq Sheikh Assistant Commissioner Preedy Sub-Division South as election commissioner to conduct Karachi Electronic Dealers Association election within sixty days. According to order issued by Deputy Commission south election commission will prepare voters' list as per membership of KEDA, will be received and scrutinised applications of candidates for office bearers of general body of the association.
The election commission will also ensure that election to be conducted in a fair and transparent manner and legal action to be taken against those who try to sabotage the election process. It may be mentioned here that tenure of elected member and office bearers of general body of KEDA has already expired and there are some disputes between various groups; therefore, to avoid any derail, the DC south has announced an election commission. Meanwhile, Karachi electronics dealer (Irfan Group) has welcomed the Mustafa Jamal Kazi's order and assured full support to the election commission regarding election process.
