Vice Chancellor University of Veterinary And Animal Sciences (UVAS) Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha has said that livestock is the only sector, which will bring prosperity in the country. He was addressing the third reunion of UVAS Alumni Association the other day.
A large number of UVAS graduates as well as former governor Punjab Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd), federal secretary Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar, former vice chancellor Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmad Quraeshi, Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf central leader Dr Israr Shah was also present on the occasion.
Pasha said that livestock sector is very challenging and a profit-making business and has a potential to boost country's agro-economy. Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that 'the Alumni are the goodwill ambassador of the university and an important goal of the function is to engage alumni what they can do to support UVAS on all fronts.
