SNGPL to carry out gas loadshedding for four days in a week

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced to carry out gas loadshedding for four days in a week in Faisalabad region from March 8, 2012 as a result more than 600 industries including textile units had been closed again.
Chief Co-ordinator Chaudhry Salamat Ali said that SNGPL had provided gas to the industries only 11 days during the last 75 days, which is an attempt to shatter the export oriented textile industry and economic murder of thousands of workers. He said that industrialisation plays an important role in the economic growth as it not only earns foreign exchange for the country but also provides jobs to thousands of people but in the absence of gas, industrial productivity had come to a complete halt.
