Upward trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Monday in process of modest activity, dealers said. On the seed side til low type retained the weekend level at Rs 3300 while the best type gained Rs 250 to Rs 3750. Castorseed Lasbela followed the same pattern, gaining Rs 50 to Rs 2000 and cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 450 and the good type was higher by Rs 150 to Rs 850, other items retained the last levels, they said.
On the cereal sector gur low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 3800 while the best quality did not show any change at Rs 4800, they said. On the rice counter Irri-6 Sindh showed marginal gain of Rs 25 to Rs 3250-3325, rates on the grams were unmoved in process of slow trading, they said.
