Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala Muhammad Amin has said that Police will fulfil its responsibilities for protecting life and property of the people in Gujranwala Region. Addressing the members of Motorcycle Dealers Association Sialkot on Saturday here, he said that law and order would be maintained at every cost and drive against anti-social elements, dacoits and ransom seekers had been expatiated in all parts of the region.
With the active co-operation and support of citizens the police would further tighten the nose of criminals and all districts of the region would be purged from the crimes, he said. The RPO said the police was performing its duty honestly and with missionary zeal in maintaining law and order and to protect the life and property in the region.
On this occasion RPO lauded the courage and bravery of Zahid Iqbal Lone for foiling the attempt of robbery in his motorcycle showroom and killing a dacoit at the spot on Friday. Addressing the meeting, District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Mohsin Naqvi assured the traders that police would further enhance its patrolling on Railway road to keep an eye on criminals and to protect the life and property of the people.
