Site Association of Industry (SAI) concerned over the recent deterioration of law and order situation, particularly street crimes like mobile, valuable snatchings and harassing industrialists in Karachi site area. Although after our all efforts and continued follow ups with police had shown some positive results into creation of least deterrence and discouragement for the control of criminal elements but the situation has again deteriorated.
It is the need of hour to curb the criminals with iron hands to streamline the adversary of the economic environment for carrying out economic activities. It is the duty of state to save the life and property of the citizen which has direct co-relation with the economic growth and conducting economic activities.
The Site area particularly Haroonabad, main Site Avenue and adjoining roads have become a heaven and shelter for the criminals. They demand CM Sindh, Interior Minister, IG, Additional IG police, DIG west, SSP west to take the situation seriously. The association urged the DG Ranger, commandant colonel in charge in the area to please help us through the exercise of power vested to take cognisance, which have been extended to Rangers, of the nature similar to powers vested to police. The association has also requested Interior Minister Sindh for sparing a few moments to discuss the persistent situation of criminal activities in the Site area.-PR
