Child's killing: hundreds protest inefficiency of police

Hundreds of residents of Rashidabad blocked Jhang Road for several hours by burning tyres when they found body of a child, missing since three days, packed in a bag. Police arrested a jeweller Ahsan and his brother Shoaib for investigation.
According to police report, three-year-old Irfan, son of Sajjad Ahmad, rickshaw driver, went missing in chak no. 221RB three days ago. When the body of Irfan was found packed in a bag from the fields, residents of the area reached police station Rashidabad, but nobody listened to them. Later, hundreds of them, including women, blocked the traffic by staging a sit-on with the body in the middle of the road and burnt tyres outside Rashidabad police station.
