The Information Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Senator Mushahidullah on Saturday advised Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to announce fresh polls in the country to pave the way for amicable solution to the present crises faced by the country.
Talking to Business Recorder, he said that the Prime Minister should show political maturity and announce fresh polls, after consultation with the country's political leadership. According to him, political crises in the country have deepened and the incumbent government lacks ability to handle the situation. Therefore, the most appropriate way out is to announce fresh elections in the country, he said.
Mushahidullah said the PML-N had moved the Supreme Court to unfold truth on 'memogate' issue. "After submission of replies by two respondents in the petition of PML-N, it has been proved that 'memo' is a reality and the government intends to conceal facts about the 'memo' issue," he said, adding that "the PML-N would not allow anybody to play foul game in the name of democracy." "If the hands of the government are clean, why is it afraid of an independent and impartial inquiry?" he questioned.
