Grams prices were higher on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams sector yellow peas Canada rose by Rs 50 to Rs 3900-4100, yellow peas dal Canada followed same pattern, gaining Rs 100 to Rs 4350-4550, yellow peas Ukraine was also up by Rs 50 to Rs 3700-3900 and yellow peas dal Ukraine tracked the same way, gining Rs 50 to Rs 4200-4400, they said.
On the cereal side, wheat old and new Bardan were quoted higher at Rs 2685-2690 and 2700-2705, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 850, best type, however, lost the same amount to Rs 900, they said. On the rice counter prices retained the weekend levels, they said.
